 1. Do you have back-up equipment?
Yes, we have back-up equipment on hand in case something fails, it can be replaced momentarily.

 2. I'm getting married and I'm looking for D.J. who looks and acts professionally.
We wear tuxedos to every formal occasion and our DJs are courteous, experienced, and trained to handle every event flawlessly.

 3. What are you prices? I'm calling around for the cheapest price in town.
Prices vary on several elements regarding your event. Our prices are set to guarantee that your event will go flawlessly. We carry top of the line equipment and make sure that our DJs are trained and continue to learn the newest interaction techniques. We also stay up to date with our extensive music library to ensure that we can provide you with the selection of music needed to have a successful event. We cannot guarantee that our prices are the cheapest in town, but what we can gurantee is a quality performance unmatched by our competitors.

 4. I'm having my event in a very large venue. Do you carry enough speakers to handle it?
Yes. We carry various sizes of sound-reinforcement packages, from small to extremely large. There isn't any place too large or too small for us to handle!

 5. If I wanted to reserve By The Sea D.J Services for my event, what do I need to do?
First of all, call us for availability (the sooner the better). If the date is available, we draw up a standard contract stating general information such as time, place, and cost. Then both parties sign the agreement and we need a $100 deposit. The remaining balance is due at  the event.

 6. Can we meet and discuss our plans with one of your representatives before the event?
Yes. We prefer meeting with you before each event. The more comforatable and stress-free we make you, the easier our job becomes! We like to show up at your event prepared so that we can ensure a flawless performance. We strive for nothing less than perfect!

 7. What is typically included when you play for an event?
Generally speaking, we bring an appropriately sized sound setup (dependent upon the size of your venue) with speakers and microphone. If the event is in the evening or in a venue with little light, we offer colorful and exciting dance light systems at no extra charge. For special effects, we also offer fog, snow, and bubble machines which are great for a bride and groom's first dance. These effects (fog, snow, and bubbles) are an additional charge, and must be requested early to ensure availability.

 8. Why hire a DJ instead of a band?
Although, it is a matter of personal preference, there are many advantages to hiring a disc jockey. First of all, DJs do not require breaks, therefore you have non-stop music. Second, DJs are usually less expensive since they do not have to pay as many people as a band. Third, DJs have the ability to fit into small areas, bands take up a lot of space in most cases. Fourth, DJs can play the original version of a song by the original artist. And finally, if a DJ becomes ill, the our company can replace him promptly. However, if a band member becomes ill, the show might be impaired...

 9. Do you make us wear funny hats, glasses, or use props?
No. Our objective is for you to have fun without feeling embarrassed or pushed to do something that you don't want to. Our interaction techniques consist of dancing, body movement, and imagination. Props are generally used with assisting games, mostly public events, younger birthday parties, and gatherings.
